Pretty cool weekend here in Baton Rouge. Pam Tebow (Tim's mom) visited Baton Rouge to speak at our church's Women's Ministry Fall Kick-off. They asked me to serve as her host for the weekend. Turns out there are benefits to being some of the only Gators in Tiger Country :). I got to spend a lot of time with Pam this weekend and she was a real blessing. It's easy to see why Tim has such a strong foundation in the Lord.
Pam shared a lot of different scriptures while she was here, but one that really spoke to me was Psalm 62:5-8. It's so helpful to remember that for all our searching, God alone can provide the rest and the hope we seek. He is trustworthy and He loves us with an everlasting love.
Psalm 62:58
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
